Dan and I found out in early December of 2010, that we were going to need to make room for an addition to our family! This was terrifying news for the two of us to say the least. We were speechless and scared and didn't want to come to the realization that there would be a baby in our arms within nine months. But we didn't have any other chose but to hope for the best. The best was not coming soon enough for the mommy to be though... I was so sick the first 3.5 months that I lost 20lbs! I couldn't even keep down water. (FYI, ice cold water feels kind of nice coming back up). When I was healthy enough to get up, Dan and I started to prepare for the baby... sitting on the couch making jokes and eating ice cream.
After a few times of that we started getting the nursery ready... Baby showers and All... Our first shower was in California in May 2011 with family and the second was in Washington in July 2011 with friends.
