Helo's First 4th of July

Helo's First 4th Of July We Spent With Our Friends... The Wagner's!
This Day Was...(A Day Mommy Doesn't Want To Repeat)
Helo Had Fun Most The Day.
He Played Outside With The Other Kids,
He Cuddled With Mommy And Daddy On The Hammock.
And Then Helo Decided He Was Hungry...
We Took Helo Inside To Eat,
He Wanted To Be A Big Boy and Stand On The Chair Of The Dining Room To Be Fed.
Helo Stepped To The Side (Where There Was No Chair)
And As He Fell, His Chin Hit The Corner Of The Table And He Bit Through His Tongue!
(Sorry No Pictures Of This, Dan Was Sad There Are No Pictures, But Pictures Were Not A Concern Of Mine At The Time).
 Blood Was Every Where!
It Soaked Through Mommy's Sweater, Shirt, Bra, Garments!
Luckily We Were In The Midst Of Friends!
As Other Mommy's came To The Rescue (Because I Was Dumbfounded)
Daddy Sat Across The Table Eating, He Said He Didn't Want To Be/Get In The Way Of Proffesionals.
Helo Chewed On A Wet Washcloth For About 5 Minutes (He Was Done By Then).
Mommy Changed Clothes (The Other Ones Were Put Straight Into The Washing Machine)
Later We Changed Back Into Our Clothes (Blood Stains Gone)
And Helo Was Miserable The Rest Of The Night.
Luckily, We Carry Tylenol In The Diaper Bag For Emergencies,
And No Emergency Room Trip Was Needed.
Helo Did Bite Through His Tongue And It Took A While To Heal.
But The Way He Bit Through It Left A Flap That Just Needed To Heal On Its Own.
Watching Fireworks...Of Course He Was Tired!
Our Sweet Baby!
We Love You Helo!

Catching Up...

I know it has been 8 months since I last posted...Busy times! A lot has happened in the past eight months, We have grown as a family and have recently needed to make many changes to "our plans" in life. We realized that "our plans" simply aren't plans, they are hopes. We are realizing that tending to "Gods' plans" are more challenging, but are worth the Eternity to come.
We do not know what Gods' plans for us are at this time (which can be frustrating some days) But we are pressing forward with what we have and what we know.
I know that God lives. And I know that He loves Me. I know that the Love He has for Dan and Helo is deeper than I can imagine (which is hard to imagine). And I know that God will not give us anything that We can not handle.
I will try to play catch up here in the next few weeks with photos and an updated blog.
So here goes...

Helo learned to shut the TV Off and On.
Daddy thought this was funny, until He was playing video games and Helo wanted to show Daddy that He can turn the screen different colors:)

Daddy couldn't stop laughing though and gave up on playing games this evening.

(Helo needs a haircut)

We Love You Son!
