Vacation(2)!!! Story Time

When we were at the Great Wolf Lodge, they had this show that occurred at 8pm every night and right after the show they had story time. So at 8 all the kids were welcome to throw on the pjs and come to the 'good night' activity. There was SO many kids that attended so we were sure to send one of us (Helo and I) to get a couch early (since couches are limited). We got the couch that was dead center of the show! But in order to get this amazing seat, I was there at 7:15! Then Wendy and Wade joined me, while the rest of the klan went to go get ice cream! Then I wanted seconds, so loving Dan ran upstairs to get me some more. (We think the ice cream lady was hitting on Drew and Dan because she gave them 4smal and 1large ice cream and 2 sodas for $5! It would normally cost $20-25! And when Dan went for seconds...It was FREE!) Whatever, she would have never gotten him any ways...He's MINE!
The show before story time was...um...WEIRD! There was a song about "don't afraid of the forest", We think drunk people wrote it. In the middle of show Helo got tired, so I took Him upstairs to the room while every one else finished the show and story time.
The one thing I enjoyed about story time is the Three kids spending time together (while us adults look bored, tired and look around for the crazy nuts who made up that oh so interesting show).
Helo and Mommy!

The Three Munchkins... Wade, Helo and Wendy

Drew and Wade/ Carrie and Wade

All of us waiting for the show to begin.

Wade and Helo... Not very into the show...

Everybody... Not very into the show...

...Still a boring show...
Helo, probably thinking "why would Mommy and Daddy put me through this?"

How Dan and I felt during the show...

Happy Third Month Helo!

November 16, 2011
Helo has grown SO much!
He learned to roll over at 2 1/2 months old!
(Sorry, I am still trying to get that video uploaded).
He still loves the water, and He is learning to splash!
He is not so much into tummy time,
but we as parents try are best to make it fun for Him.
He can hold his head up strong,
and loves to sit and watch football with Daddy.
And Helo's nails grow so fast, I have to cut them 2-3 times a week!
We are VERY blessed to have Helo as our Son
and we are extremely grateful for the patience we have with Him,
and for the patience He has with us.
We couldn't have wished for a
Happier/Peaceful/Loving/And So Much More New addition!
Happy Third Month!
We Love You Helo!

Helo makes us laugh every time He laughs!
He is so Happy!

Helo has grown SO much!

Helo was standing on Mommy since He was three weeks old.
Now He loves to just stand and look around.

VACATION(3)!!! Swimming!

Helo and Daddy just got to the pool...
They were watching Carrie, Wendy, Drew and Wade swim.

Wendy liked to bob up and down in the pool.

Carrie and Wendy!

In the front is Carrie and Wade!
In the back is Drew and Wendy!
And Yes...that is a Huge acorn and snake in the background.
Wade rode on the snake once.
He said it felt weird, so He wanted off.

All of us together!
There was a lot to do at the water park. And the water was at a nice 80 degree temp, so being cold was not an issue. There was a Baby section, which was a little bit warmer of a temperature than the rest of the park (Wades favorite section!), it had slides, a jungle gym, a built-in banana boat, and built-in jet skis with squirt guns, which is where we all took our pic together, a wave pool (you could always find Wendy there every 20 mins), a jungle gym with attached water slides...(Wendy loved these!) a pool with large plastic ride ons with 6 basketball hoops! There was also two big rides called 'The Tornado' and "Canyon River', at night these two slides lit up from the inside out! There was also a smaller version of the 'Canyon River'. And to make it even better... There were practically NO LINES! It was awesome! Helo loved to just sit in the water, but when we went under waterfalls...He was not so Happy. To say the least... We had a blast! And we were all sad to see it end so soon. We LOVE YOU ALL! And we will see you soon!!!

VACATION(1)!!!

Carrie, Helo, and Wendy!

Carrie doing Wendy's LONG hair after it being washed...
We had to leave the Hotel to go buy conditioner
because they didn't have any on the premises!!!
Wendy is SO cute with her thumbs up!

Just Hanging Out!
It is so nice to not have an itinerary on vacation!

Can you guess why Helo is scared?
...Daddy yelled at the t.v.!

This vacation was INCREDIBLE! And SO much FUN! Dan, Helo and I went with Drew, Carrie, Wendy and Wade to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wa for 3nights/4days. The only downside to this Hotel was that they didn't carry or sell conditioner! And their extra sofa bed was like sleeping on bricks with metal springs...OUCH!
So the second night we switched to a bigger room with a king sized bed instead of the pull out sofa. The first room was really nice for the kids because they had their own cabin IN the room. But even after switching rooms...we all had a blast.
Carrie took me to my first massage... and it was 90mins!!! I was so nervous/anxious/excited/etc. In the end it was incredible and really relaxed me! I was so thrilled with the massage experience that the following morning I took Carrie with me to get an hour facial! Wow... it was amazing. To sum it up...We were spoiled! But hey, that is what vacations are for. Thank you to our Husbands who watched the kids for us and let us get away!
Another fun activity was a game called "Magi Quest". SO POPULAR! All day you saw kids of all ages running around looking for these paintings/sculptures/movies/objects that they waved their wands at and received info to their next destination. If you succeed and finish the quest it equals out to be a total of 10 MILES!!! And most of those miles are made up of stairs! Props to Drew and Wendy for going the distance (literally)! Whenever they got back from their quest of the day, they would be totally and utterly exhausted. But they would suck it up, in the end...Wendy slayed the evil Dragon, as we were trying to head out of the hotel to go home (it took all of us adults and Wendy 7 times to try to beat him, but we weren't leaving without victory)! CONGRATS WENDY! For becoming a Master Magi!
In the end...We want to do it all over again!

Chill'in Helo

Helo loves to suck on his hand, and that is great...as long as he doesn't find his thumb!

Our Son is ADORABLE!
I love Helo's looks...
He is just like his Daddy!

Hands and Feet

Daddy's Hand, Mommy's Hand, and Helo's Hand.

Mommy's Feet, Helo's Feet and Daddy's Feet.
Helo likes going barefoot, but Mommy likes him to wear socks.
Helo never complains when He has to wear socks,
so every once and a while, his feet run bare.
