Helo And Mommy
Yes, Helo is wrapped in a pink towel.
It's actually Mommy's towel...but Helo was borrowing it.
This was right after one of Helo's favorite times...Bath Time.
We taught Helo how to tell us if He is hungry...
He eats our cheeks, but He only does it a certain way if He is hungry.
This is a Daddy and Mommy 'thing'.
So Please, No one try to see if He will eat your cheek,
(Because he probably will).

Happy Four Months Helo!
Wow... Helo smiles A LOT!
Helo smiling at Daddy... Daddy JUST came home from work! Helo missed Him as you can see.
Helo LOVES to be as naked as possible. But this is as naked as Mommy lets Him get in the middle of the day in winter. Though every night before Helo's bath, Helo likes to be completely naked and do a nakey dance in front of the mirror... He laughs THE WHOLE TIME! It's hilarious.
Helo's growing....
Helo has many pajamas, but His favorite are the ones with animals on the feet. He has ones with monkeys, lions, tigers, and this one has bears (it's His favorite). Helo Loves to play with his feet and talk to the animals. He is such a cutie! Love You Sweet Boy!
So four months have gone by, everyone says it goes by fast, and it does...but it's enjoyable! Helo loves eating (we're surprised He isn't bigger), He gets frustrated when he can't sit up for as long as He wants to. Helo is still teething and Loves to gnaw on Mommy's and Daddy's arm (gross). Other than that, Helo is still His Happy self.
Love You Son!
Helo Eating
This is Helo after eating...
a whole tub of sweet potatoes,
a whole tub of pears, and
1/4 tub of apples!
Hungry boy, and He didn't even get THAT messy!

Dan's Birthday
Wherever you live, you always have to try those 'best places to eat' around you. You know, the ones that every tells you is the best and you have to try!
So for Dan's Birthday we went to one of these places, this one is called Triple XXX. This place is has the best scenery, and totally fattening food. We were told that this restaurant is an annual restaurant. Because of the food (and drinks) being as full as you can get, this place is good for that one time a year......
Dan and I decided it was more of a "once a decade" kind of stop, and this is why......
Our finished drinks...I Love Rootbeer floats, so of course I finished mine.
Dan had a little trouble finishing his, and stopped at this point.
But he eventually finished it by chugging it before we left.

THE PICTURES TELL IT ALL:
The burger was bigger than Helo! And it was bigger than Dan's head...that is Huge!
On my defense, I did not know I ordered one of the really big burgers. There was a total of 13 of us, and when the waitress came to the table... I said "who was the idiot who ordered the HUGE burger with Dan?"... Didn't know I was referring to myself there.
This place is known for their Rootbeer. And it is GOOD! And BIG, as you can see!

Helo's Better! (with some angry ranting...sorry)
Sorry I haven't blogged in a while. Helo was very ill. He had an ear ache, eye infection, cough, He was throwing up, He was congested, and constipated. So His Dr. put Him on antibiotics for 10days, along with a few other medicines/routines. It was a rough few weeks as we cared for Helo. But Helo is getting better... And let me just say his poops are showing He's feeling better!
Helo has started solids! He started at three months! And before anyone freaks out on us... We are not bad parents for starting Him so soon, and NO it wasn't too early. Not everything goes by age you know. If you listen to your child's pediatrician and watch for the correct signs...as a parent, you will know when your child is ready. And every child is different.
Helo has been 'supporting sitting' (really trying to sit on his own), and whenever Dan and I eat He leans toward the utensil to try to get a bite. He was ready when we started Him too. He eats so well (some foods more than others). He Loves His cereal, sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, and has come to tolerate pears. He despises green beans and peaches, and He will eat peas if we combine them with another likable food. He is still on (what Dan calls) booby milk, and He seems to be eating ALL the time for the past two weeks. He now ways 15 lbs! I feel like I am carrying around weights all day.
Helo physically...needs improvement on his tummy time. He is closer to walking than to crawling (which we were told is not the best) so we are working on his tummy skills.
If you walk into our home...you will see what looks like a playground. Helo has so many toys that look like their own jungle gyms, some of them are borrowed (until He outgrows them) and some of them are His. But Helo is Dan's son, He gets bored fast. So we are constantly moving to the next toy, which is why it's good we have so many.
But other than the tummy time, Helo is great and is growing fast!

In this picture it looks like Helo has a big head, but it is just the angle of the camera.
Our Cutie!
Tummy Time!
Helo is like His Daddy... Bright lights and shiny objects distract Him.

Vacation(2)!!! Story Time
When we were at the Great Wolf Lodge, they had this show that occurred at 8pm every night and right after the show they had story time. So at 8 all the kids were welcome to throw on the pjs and come to the 'good night' activity. There was SO many kids that attended so we were sure to send one of us (Helo and I) to get a couch early (since couches are limited). We got the couch that was dead center of the show! But in order to get this amazing seat, I was there at 7:15! Then Wendy and Wade joined me, while the rest of the klan went to go get ice cream! Then I wanted seconds, so loving Dan ran upstairs to get me some more. (We think the ice cream lady was hitting on Drew and Dan because she gave them 4smal and 1large ice cream and 2 sodas for $5! It would normally cost $20-25! And when Dan went for seconds...It was FREE!) Whatever, she would have never gotten him any ways...He's MINE!
The show before story time was...um...WEIRD! There was a song about "don't afraid of the forest", We think drunk people wrote it. In the middle of show Helo got tired, so I took Him upstairs to the room while every one else finished the show and story time.
The one thing I enjoyed about story time is the Three kids spending time together (while us adults look bored, tired and look around for the crazy nuts who made up that oh so interesting show).
Helo and Mommy!
The Three Munchkins... Wade, Helo and Wendy
Drew and Wade/ Carrie and Wade
All of us waiting for the show to begin.
Wade and Helo... Not very into the show...
Everybody... Not very into the show...
...Still a boring show...
Helo, probably thinking "why would Mommy and Daddy put me through this?"
How Dan and I felt during the show...
Some pictures of this 'interesting' show.
